ABOUT ME
I am a warm and caring Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is concerned with promoting change in the life of adults, couples and families. I have a special interest in promoting healing and change with those with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, grief and loss and substance abuse. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Master's degree in Community and School Counseling and I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am a National Certified Counselor recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
In addition, I am a Certified Grief Educator, trained by David Kessler at grief.com. I specialize in educating others to understand grief and loss and learn how to heal while they are on their grief journey. You are not alone!

Clinical Supervision
In addition to counseling, I provide sound, professional clinical supervision at my office in Troy. I have completed the approved training in the State of Michigan, and I follow the Approved Clinical Supervision Code of Ethics and MCBAP Code of Ethics for the State of Michigan. I welcome the opportunity to invest in the growth and development of limited licensed clinicians.
APPROACHES TO THERAPY
My therapy approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused Therapy (SFT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am dedicated to teach, coach, encourage and support those who are willing to take the journey to improve their quality of life.
